Madhur Bhandarkar’s Page 3 seems to be going on the fast track. Added to the ensemble cast of Konkona Sen and Atul Kulkarni, the addition of Boman Irani as a newspaper editor has actually heightened expectations. Boman will play boss to Page 3 reporter Konkona Sen and Atul Kulkarni, a crime reporter in the film. After his performance in Munnabhai MBBS, Boman is riding high and has suddenly been discovered by Bollywood. Says Bobby Pushkarna the producer, “I was watching Munnabhai with my wife, and I called up Madhur to say that I have found my editor. That’s it.” Later they got in touch with Boman, who heard his role and here is shooting. “Boman is watching some old English classics to study the mannerisms of a newspaper editor. He will surprise you again.” Bobby has plans to take the film to Locarno and the Venice fest.
