Madhur Bhandarkar's Page 3 began shooting on Thursday with a simple mahurat. Konkona Sen, Tara Sharma, Sandhya Mridul and Atul Kulkarni participated in the ‘dummy' mahurat shot.
Page 3 is about the symbiotic powerplay between the rich and famous and the media.
The film is produced by Bobby Pushkarna, scripted by journalist Nina Arora and Manoj Tyagi, dialogues are by Sanjeev Dutta, cinematographed by Hollywood's Michael Anderson (Superman, Titanic) and the music will be scored by John Cameron (Cats, Phantom of the Opera) to lyrics by Javed Akhtar.
While Sen plays a page 3 journalist, Tara Sharma essays a dramatic cameo as an actress while Sandhya Mridul is a steely counterfoil that links the bonding between three ambitious career girls.
