New Delhi: 'Page 3', the story of a woman journalist covering the cocktail circuit, was declared the Best Film as the National Film Awards were announced today .

'Veer Zaara', the story of a love story between an Indian Air Force officer and a Pakistan girl, won the Best Popular Film award along with Tamil movie 'Autograph'.

'Page 3' also bagged the Best Screenplay and Best Editing awards while Samir Chandra was the Best Art Director for 'Bose'. Kannada film 'Haseena' had the best costumes.
